As part of the Ivanhoe Civic Precinct Redevelopment, SPARK fabricated a variety of wall top seats and benches, located in front of the Banyule City Council building, and the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub.

For this inviting and popular setting, the use of wide timbers set on edge, gives the seating visual weight, and the meandering forms of the concrete bases allow people to sit facing multiple directions.

Custom fixings, designed by SPARK and manufactured by sister company, Rowlands Metalworks, have 50mm diameter stainless steel heads, and rods which feed through the battens to connect and secure them to each other.
