The Djerring Flemington Hub was thoughtfully designed to promote social inclusion and sustainable design. Located in Debney’s Park, next to the local public housing estate, the hub forms a vital connection to the community.

In collaboration with Xylem Landscape Architects and HDM Contractors, Spark developed and fabricated a range of seating, benches, and table configurations for the outdoor space. These were powder coated in Pale Eucalypt and clad with Enviroslat composite battens. To achieve the curved shapes in the tables and seating, Spark used waterjet cutting, one of the best methods for shaping composite and timber materials. The result was clean, elegant curves that enhance the overall aesthetic of the outdoor environment.
