Custom Projects/ANZAC Walk/

Project: ANZAC Centenary Memorial Garden Walk, South Australia
Date: Apr 2016
Project Designer: Grieve Gillett Anderson Architects
Landscape Designer: Tract Consultants
Brief: The design for this project was “founded upon simple and strong special order” according to project designer, Grieve Gillett Anderson Architects. The aim was to transform Kintore avenue into a public space for gathering, education, reflection and contemplation. ANZAC walk has been designed to “accommodate every day movement and large events without losing any sense of purpose” the walk “provides a generous, welcoming, safe, and inviting space that is accessible and age friendly.”
Solution:  Spark worked in conjunction with Grieve Gillett Anderson and Tract to deliver a range of wall mounted seating in stunning Australian hardwoods. Spark also created the narrative signage placed opposite the formidable etched black granite wall, and working in conjunction with Pecan Lighting supplied much of the lit ambience which highlights the stunning design after the sun goes down.
